To Post to the list
If you wish to send a message to all subscribers of this mailing list, just send a message to mag@pica.com.aufrom your email client.
NOTE:Also the list will only recognise and accept mail from the the email address that you subscribe with. Eg. if you subscribe from a work email address the list will reject mail from your home email address. This is really the only problem we've ever had to help people with on the list. So if you remember this when changing email accounts or forwarding mail you'll have no problem.

The Rules
This is a small friendly list and I don't anticipate any problems but here's a few guidelines to ensure everyone gets the most benefit from the list;
- Keep messages to the point and trim quoted messages.
- Don't send attachments or graphics files to the list. Provide a link so that people can go and view or download the file themselves.
- Keep yourself nice! Remember the list is a public place. As well as AUSOM and iMUG members and friends many industry representatives also receive the list mail. Their input and feedback is a valuable resource. Fair comment or criticism is welcome but obviously nothing to embarrass iMUG, AUSOMor our kind hosts, PICA Software.
- Shameless sales pitches are out, but we welcome product announcements etc from industry vendors, and there's nothing at all wrong with detailing product features etc in answering member queries. Offering bargain 2nd hand graphics gear to the list is great, selling your car is not.
- Feel free to ask questions, that's what the list is for. If you're wondering then other people will be too.
Digest users, please remember two little things to keep the list a happy place;
- Don't quote the whole digest back to the list when replying to an email. If your email package automatically quotes the message you are replying to (most do), then make sure you delete all the bits that are not relevant to your answer. This is common sense for any list user but it is especially important on digest to avoid people seeing the same daily messages quoted repeatedly.
- Please make sure the subject line of your reply is meaningful eg re mac graphics question etc NOT re digest 28 June which doesn't give other users any idea what your email is about.
If you'd like to contact a human about this list or the graphics groups at either iMUGor AUSOMI'd be happy to talk to you.
Kind Regards
